I will always remember our high school days and double dating on through our getting married and staying in touch. There are many pleasant memories. My thoughts and prayers are with you and the family, Linda.

My deepest sympathy to the family. Losing a loved one is one of the most painful thing in this world. But rest assured that Jehovah our God sees our sorrows and deeply cares about us. (1Peter 5:7) May you find comfort in God's word recorded in John 5:28,29 which promises a resurrection hope for all our dear loved ones.

In 1995 I went with Larry and a group from First Alliance Church to help build a church in Burkina Faso, Africa. During that time I got to know him. Prior to that time I always knew him as a very quiet and introverted person. But during that time I found him to be committed, hard working and a fun personality. And yes he could be out going too! While in Africa on that trip, he welded up some 16 plus metal trusses that spanned 40 ft. He worked long hours and saw the job thru. This trip to Africa was not the first or the last for Larry. He was an encouragement to me then. In December 2019 was the last time I saw Larry and Linda at church. I spoke with him about his battle with cancer. Even though he had been through the most difficult physical time of his life, he praised the Lord for taking him through that difficult time. He was an encouragement to me again as well as those days in Africa. What wonderful memories those are. Linda and family, know that Amy and I are thinking and praying for you during this time and in the days ahead.

Larry was the brother I never had. Have known him for 54 years since he started dating my sister. How we loved to tease him & he would tease us right back. So many memories. I was with Linda when Larry got back from his 6 month navy cruise. They were so happy to finally be back together again. He shared life with us & included us in so many activities. We got to take his kids on trips. I will miss his smile & fighting spirit. Until we meet again, brother, on Heaven's shore.
